Description

Late season isn’t for everyone. The woods are silent, the temps are brutal, and only the diehards stay in the stand. The Late Season Whitetail System is built to keep you hunting when the cold tries to push you out. Insulated, windproof, and dead quiet, this system is your armor for the frozen grind—locking in heat, cutting the wind, and keeping you invisible until the biggest buck of the year finally steps out.

ASIO Gear — Late Season System

The late season starter system

In January the woods belong to whoever's still out there.

The pressure's gone, the food is predictable, and the biggest deer left standing is back on his feet in daylight. Everything about the last few weeks favors the hunter who can sit through them.

Where it runs

20°FThe system as it ships
TEENS & BELOWWith heavyweight baselayers
180gPrimaLoft® Gold, jacket and bib

180g PrimaLoft® Gold in the jacket and bib, 100g in the vest, windproof construction across all six pieces. That's a system ready to hunt at twenty degrees out of the box. Add heavyweight baselayers and it carries into the teens and below — layered that way, guys have hunted this setup through thirty below wind chill and stayed in the tree.

Six pieces, six jobs

Stay warm enough to get bored. That's usually right before it happens.

ASIO Gear — Late Season System FAQ

Straight answers

Before you buy it

01What temperature is this system actually for?

Twenty degrees as it ships. That's the coldest end of your season — food source sits, single-digit mornings, and the stretch where most guys have already hung it up.

With the appropriate layers underneath, we've had guys wear this well below zero and stay in the tree.

02Do I need to add baselayers, or is this ready to hunt?

Ready to hunt at twenty degrees as it ships. This is your starter system for the cold — six pieces, windproof throughout, with 180g PrimaLoft® Gold in the jacket and bib.

Below twenty, start with heavyweight baselayers — that's the first thing to add. From there you keep building underneath with a vest or an insulated midlayer, depending on how cold you're hunting and how long you're sitting. The outer layers never change.

03How does sizing work across six pieces?

You pick your size on each piece separately, so a large jacket with a medium bib is no problem. Order your typical size — these are already cut assuming you'll have layers underneath, because that's what late season asks for.

And if it shows up and something isn't right — we'll send you a prepaid label to exchange it. You shouldn't have to guess at this from a size chart.

04Can I still draw my bow in all of this?

Yes. That's the part we spend the most time on. The insulation sits where the heat is needed and the cut stays trim through the arm and shoulder, so the string comes back to the same anchor you shot all summer.

Warmth that costs you the shot isn't warmth. It's a coat.

05Why buy the system instead of the pieces?

Because it's complete. Head, neck, hands, core and legs — every piece built for the same conditions and meant to work together.

In the cold, one gap is the whole sit. Cold hands or wind cutting through your layers will put you on the ground by three o'clock no matter how good the jacket is. This covers all of it, with your size picked on each piece.
